Breaking: Israel’s Attacks in Gaza Claim Over 700 Lives Since Last Year’s Ceasefire

Breaking News: Israeli Attacks in Gaza

As of April 21, 2026, Israeli military actions have resulted in the deaths of over 700 people in Gaza since a US-brokered ceasefire last October. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that approximately 2,000 individuals have also been injured during this period.

In related developments, Dubai-based logistics company DP World has engaged in discussions with representatives of Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace.” These talks focus on potential collaboration for managing supply chains and infrastructure in Gaza, including logistics for humanitarian aid and commercial goods.

Proposals discussed include the establishment of a new port in Gaza or on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, as well as a free-trade zone in the area. The discussions align with ongoing US efforts to privatize services and infrastructure in Palestinian territories.

DP World, one of the largest port operators globally, has not confirmed the discussions. Meanwhile, a joint assessment by the European Union, UN, and World Bank estimates that Gaza will require $71.4 billion for reconstruction over the next decade, with $23 billion needed in the first 18 months.
