Breaking News: Violence Continues in Gaza
A Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a motorcycle near the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Eyad al-Motawwaq’s death was confirmed by medical sources on Saturday. Several others were injured in the attack.
Witnesses reported that the drone strike occurred outside designated military zones under a ceasefire agreement established in October. Additionally, Israeli forces shelled the Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, though no casualties have been reported from that incident.
In the past 48 hours, Gaza’s Health Ministry stated that at least four people were killed and 15 others injured due to ongoing violence. Rescue teams are still working to reach victims trapped under rubble.
Since the ceasefire began, Gaza has experienced significant casualties, with over 850 Palestinians killed and more than 2,400 injured, according to the Health Ministry. The conflict has displaced nearly the entire population of two million in Gaza.
Efforts to negotiate peace have stalled, while Turkish officials are discussing humanitarian assistance for the region.
