Breaking News: Traffic Chaos on M25 Due to Serious Crash
People are stranded in heavy traffic on the M25 following a serious crash between a van and a lorry. The incident occurred between junctions six and seven, near Godstone.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) is treating patients for heat-related illnesses as temperatures soar to record highs for June. A man has been airlifted to the hospital, and ambulance crews are prioritizing the most serious cases due to long queues.
The traffic congestion has been described as “severe and prolonged,” with some vehicles stuck for hours. Passengers on coaches are among those affected.
Social media is filled with pleas for help from those trapped in the heat. One woman reported her parents had been stuck for over 4.5 hours without information or supplies. She noted the risk to elderly individuals and children in the extreme heat.
Another post mentioned that ambulances are struggling to reach those in need, as there is no hard shoulder on the motorway. Emergency services are working to provide assistance as conditions worsen.
