Job Purpose
Hellmann’s/BestFoods is an iconic brand in the U.S., found in one out of every two households and leading the mayonnaise category by a significant margin. As the Innovation Marketing Manager, you will spearhead strategic innovation platforms for the brand, focusing on multi-year core initiatives and developing solutions that cater to future consumer needs. Reporting directly to the Head of Condiments US, you will be instrumental in delivering world-class innovations that drive substantial business growth. This role is highly strategic and visible, requiring a passionate and driven individual with a love for food.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to shape brand and portfolio strategy, oversee product development, and lead cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic innovation initiatives for Hellmann’s/BestFoods.
- Collaborate with business group counterparts to develop impactful projects that address U.S. market needs.
- Support the HBF portfolio strategy by identifying consumer insights to inform new product development and future portfolio architecture.
- Craft compelling narratives that generate excitement and buy-in internally and externally.
- Lead cross-functional teams, establishing clear priorities and objectives while ensuring timely project delivery.
- Co-manage resource allocation and project prioritization within the HBF innovation team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 6+ years of experience in Brand Marketing or Creative/Digital/PR Agency.
- Strong passion for food and innovation, with a competitive drive rooted in food culture.
- Consumer-centric thinker with a keen interest in consumer trends and product quality.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a focus on deriving insights from data for fact-based decision-making.
- Ability to balance creativity with a pragmatic business mindset.
- Strong communication skills, adept at project management and storytelling to effectively advance strategic initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $103,000 to $154,400, based on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus: Eligible for performance-based bonuses.
- Long-Term Incentive (LTI): Eligible for long-term incentives.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plan including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), retirement savings, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, paid vacation, and holidays. Participation in benefits is subject to plan terms and conditions.
