Breaking News: Norris Excels in Race
In a thrilling race, Lando Norris started from sixth on the grid and quickly moved to third place on the first lap. He briefly overtook Antonelli for second but was retaken shortly after.
Norris, George Russell, and Max Verstappen exchanged positions during the race. Norris eventually secured third place, distancing himself from the pack behind him. Verstappen, the reigning world champion, expressed satisfaction with his performance but noted challenges with his car’s pace.
Russell, who started fifth, climbed to third after successfully passing Verstappen early on. However, he lost positions to Norris and Verstappen in subsequent laps. Russell acknowledged that while he had a strong start, he ultimately finished fourth, one point less than expected.
On lap nine, Russell managed to regain third by overtaking Verstappen, who then struggled against Charles Leclerc from Ferrari, ultimately dropping to sixth place. Oscar Piastri of McLaren finished just behind Verstappen.
Liam Lawson from Racing Bull defended his position against Isack Hadjar to secure the final points. Qualifying for the main grand prix is scheduled for 16:00 BST on Saturday.
