Our Kenya program, branded as Tupande, has been operational since 2006. With nearly 500 staff at our Kakamega headquarters supporting 1,747 field staff, we serve more than 1 million farmers. Additionally, around 50 staff in Nairobi focus on global functions such as procurement, recruitment, government relations, and communications.

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Coordinator to oversee all inventory movements. Your primary objective will be to eliminate data errors, enhance QC processes, conduct physical stock counts, and manage a team of SAP Data Entry & QC Administrators to ensure 100% data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Oversight: Conduct second-level checks on all transactions in SAP, COBI, and Odoo.
  • Month-End Coordination: Lead the reconciliation of physical stock counts from warehouses and shops against system records.
  • Process Management: Own the KPIs for data accuracy, update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conduct audits to ensure compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Quality Control Administrators, overseeing their training, performance evaluations, and daily task assignments.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on QC findings and root-cause analyses to help minimize waste and optimize spending.

Qualifications

We seek candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SAP, COBI WMS, or similar inventory management systems.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and Power BI for data analysis, KPI tracking, and report generation.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
  • High accuracy and integrity in managing inventory data, ensuring compliance with financial controls and SOPs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to lead QC initiatives, meet deadlines, and manage projects effectively.
