Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Packaging Leader for our Global Men’s Skin Cleansing Packaging team within the Personal Care Category. This role involves close collaboration with the Global Skin Cleansing Associate Packaging Director to develop strategies for our Men’s Skin Cleansing packaging portfolio. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative team culture and lead cross-functional initiatives to create consumer-preferred packaging designs.
As the packaging workstream leader, you will manage multiple high-complexity global projects, ensuring effective use of design tools and adherence to Unilever’s project management methodologies. You will also take on the role of Technical Project Leader, overseeing all R&D aspects of your projects.
This position will support existing business operations through packaging revisions, cost improvements, and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and strong project management skills to deliver impactful packaging solutions on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead packaging initiatives in collaboration with Brand Development and cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Develop packaging solutions that meet quality standards and enhance consumer engagement, utilizing Unilever’s Packaging Excellence best practices.
- Mentor junior packaging engineers and manage their development goals.
- Drive Unilever’s packaging excellence practices within the team and across functions.
- Ensure compliance with Unilever’s Code of Business Principles and all relevant policies.

Location and Work Environment
This role is based in Trumbull, CT, and involves collaboration with the Global Skin Cleansing R&D hub and supplier partners. Occasional travel (5-10%) may be required for supplier visits and project activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $103,000 to $154,400, based on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus Eligibility: This position qualifies for a performance-based bonus.
- Long-Term Incentive: Eligible for long-term incentive programs.
