We serve children from all backgrounds, even in the most challenging environments, guided by our Christian faith. Join our team of over 33,000 staff members working in nearly 100 countries, and help us transform the lives of vulnerable children.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Child Sponsorship Field Content Production to provide global strategic and operational leadership for our content production ecosystem. This role is crucial in delivering over 20 million digital and printed content assets annually across more than 50 field offices and 20 fundraising markets, encompassing up to 380 language combinations.

Your contributions will directly impact child and sponsor retention, optimize operational costs, and enhance organizational scalability. You will ensure that sponsor communications are ethical, culturally appropriate, brand-aligned, emotionally resonant, and increasingly data-driven. Collaborating closely with leaders in Global Technology, Product, Marketing, and Field Operations, you will deliver an integrated “field-to-sponsor” production capability that is resilient, future-ready, and globally coherent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation of production processes to improve sponsor engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Align operational excellence with evolving sponsor experience models.
  • Manage and mentor cross-cultural teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Program Management, Change Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in senior global operations, production, or transformation leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of child sponsorship and development programming, preferably with World Vision.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex, multi-country teams across diverse cultural, legal, and labor environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation programs beyond mere process improvements.
  • Advanced program and project management skills, including governance, benefits realization, and risk management.
  • Strong change leadership experience, particularly in workforce transition and capability enhancement.
  • Experience in highly federated or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including vendor strategy, contracting, and performance management.
  • High level of data literacy, with the ability to translate operational data into strategic insights.
  • Proven skills in managing cross-cultural and cross-functional teams.
