Job Opportunity: Instrumentation and Electrical Technician at Unilever

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, identifying and rectifying any anomalies.

Maintenance Activities: Execute preventive, predictive, and improvement maintenance tasks (Kaizens) related to electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and computerized control systems via DMS.

Safety Compliance: Ensure the correction of safety and maintenance labels, including modifications and reprogramming of digital control systems.

Corrective Maintenance: Perform corrective maintenance activities, analyze failures (EWO’s), identify root causes of breakdowns, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

Testing New Installations: Conduct tests on new installations (startups and commissioning) to ensure they operate within project-defined standards.

Supplier Interaction: Collaborate with suppliers and other company facilities to introduce improvements and resolve issues.

Operational Maneuvers: Carry out operational maneuvers and maintenance activities on high-power installations (Primary Cabin and Substation).

Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement groups, seeking opportunities within existing installations and assisting in their implementation to enhance performance and safety.

Training Development: Develop and deliver technical training based on your expertise for manufacturing operators and maintenance personnel.

Audit Participation: Assist in preparing and participating in internal and external audits related to safety, quality, and WCM.

Standards Compliance: Execute tasks according to engineering standards, procedures, and work instructions to meet policies, norms (NRs), objectives, and performance standards.

Procedure Development: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs, SMPs, LUPs, PR-MAN, etc.).

Maintenance Indicators: Monitor and interpret maintenance indicators (breakdown numbers, EWO’s, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Budget, etc.) to generate corrective actions.

Risk Task Management: Authorize, execute, and oversee risk tasks (ATR).

Service Provider Oversight: Ensure the correct execution of maintenance work performed by service providers on-site.

UMS Methodology: Apply concepts and practices from the UMS methodology, participating in pillar meetings, audits, and projects.
Qualifications:
- Completed high school education.
- Technical degree in Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electromechanics.
- Knowledge of failure analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in machine maintenance and substations.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Micro Logix, SLC 500, Compact Logix, Control Logix, Rockwell, Siemens).
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Flexible availability.
