Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the quantity and quality of received materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and documentation. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying discrepancies and maintaining the integrity of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Material Inspection:

    • Verify incoming loads by checking the quantity and quality of materials against specifications and documentation.
    • Conduct thorough examinations of delivered items, documenting any discrepancies for further action.
  2. Data Management:

    • Input invoice information into the system, including values, dates, and supplier details, to maintain accurate inventory and accounting records.
  3. Requisition Management:

    • Issue material requisitions following established departmental procedures.
  4. Material Reservation:

    • Facilitate the reservation of materials for factory use, ensuring availability for production needs.
  5. Compliance Adherence:

    • Understand and comply with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) regulations 29 and 30.
  6. Inventory Accuracy Analysis:

    • Analyze stock accuracy, including monitoring tank and silo levels.
  7. Loss and Gain Investigations:

    • Conduct analyses of packaging losses and gains using Unilever’s internal methodologies to identify root causes.
  8. Chemical Handling:

    • Safely handle both solid and liquid chemical products in accordance with safety protocols.
  9. Health and Safety Standards:

    • Contribute to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards as outlined in Unilever’s internal policies.
  10. Incident Reporting:

    • Report any accidents or incidents in the factory in line with Unilever’s internal policies.
  11. Onboarding Support:
