Job Title: Financial Analyst

Position Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to ensure the integrity of our accounting records. This role involves executing and documenting controls over inventories, fixed assets, and inbound costs. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and correcting discrepancies, including variances between physical inventory and system records. This position plays a crucial role in adhering to internal policies and SOX controls while promoting the digitization and optimization of processes and reports to enhance information traceability and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Adjustments: Monitor and analyze inventory adjustment accounts (CDU) to ensure proper identification, validation, and recording of variances.

Documentation of Controls: Implement and maintain documentation for Inventory MTD controls, including stock-in-transit aging, monthly reconciliations between logistics WMS and SAP, and annual W2W control. Support audits to ensure compliance with SOX guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.

Record to Report (RTR) Process: Execute and document financial controls related to Fixed Assets, including validating internal order requests, ensuring correct asset capitalization, timely closing of internal orders, and monitoring Work in Progress (WIP) to identify and resolve open balances. Conduct annual physical asset counts.

Accounting Validation: Validate and reconcile inbound accounting information between SAP and Operations. Develop monthly pre-closing projections and account for necessary provisions, ensuring accurate cost allocation by plant and cost center. Generate insights on risks and significant variances against forecasts to enhance financial impact identification and closing process integrity.

Process Digitalization: Drive the digitization of processes and automation of controls and reports, developing and optimizing tools to improve efficiency, traceability, and data quality.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Experience:
- 2-4 years in finance, accounting, or financial control roles, preferably in FMCG companies.
- Proficient in inventory control and analysis, reconciliations, and variance tracking.
- Experience in monthly closing processes (MEC), including provisions, account reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP (FI/MM modules preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Experience collaborating with operations, logistics, or supply chain departments is desirable.
- Knowledge of internal controls, auditing, or SOX is a plus.
