Breaking News: Four Charged with Murder in Leicester
Four men have been charged with murder following the death of a 24-year-old man in Leicester. Arad Niakan was stabbed on Wednesday in De Montfort Place, off London Road, according to Leicestershire Police.
The men charged are Talha Satar, 21, of Stoughton Street South, Said Mahamed, 20, of Sparkenhoe Street, both in Spinney Hills; Husni Benramadan, 19, with no fixed address; and Yousouf Khan, 18, also of no fixed address.
All four face additional charges for possessing an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and for having a knife or bladed article in a public place.
A fifth man, Kassam Tarmahoomed, 21, has been charged with assisting an offender.
All five men are set to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
In connection with the investigation, two men aged 52 and two women aged 43 were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but have since been released on bail.
A 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has also been released with no further action.
