Breaking News: Two Confirmed Dead at Fistral Beach
A man and a woman have died after an incident in the sea off Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. The event occurred around 21:45 BST on Sunday.
Rescue personnel were called approximately 15 minutes earlier by HM Coastguard. Both individuals were pulled from the water but were confirmed dead at the scene by Devon and Cornwall Police.
Search and rescue teams from Newquay, Padstow, and St Agnes were involved in the operation. Lifeboats from Newquay RNLI and a coastguard helicopter also assisted in the rescue efforts.
