Breaking News: Stabbing Incident in West London
A 24-year-old mother, Kirandeep Kaur, was fatally stabbed at her home in Hayes, west London, on Sunday. She was in bed with her husband and baby at the time of the attack.
Kaur, originally from India, had moved to the UK in September 2024 to study at Buckinghamshire New University. She completed her studies and worked at a grocery store.
A man has been charged with her murder. Her sister, Gursharan, 21, spoke through a translator and expressed her grief, saying, “She was my world.” Gursharan noted that Kaur frequently video-called her and their mother.
Gursharan described Kaur as intelligent and hardworking, stating, “She was the top of her class in India.” She added that Kaur always prioritized their family’s needs, saying, “Our family is very poor. She was very supportive to me.”
Kaur’s family is devastated by her loss. Gursharan emphasized how much Kaur loved them and expressed her heartbreak over the tragedy.
