Breaking News: Murder Investigation in Luton
Police have started a murder investigation after a teenage boy died from a stabbing in Luton. The incident occurred at Kingsway Recreation Ground around 6:30 PM on Friday.
Bedfordshire Police responded to reports of violent behavior, where several teenagers were seen with large knives. A 17-year-old boy, who has not been named, was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
One teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and is in police custody. Another boy was also arrested but remains in the hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking the public for any information related to the incident. An increased police presence will continue in the area.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Gardener stated that the violence has deeply affected the community. He urged people not to share images or videos related to the incident on social media.
