Breaking News: Plane Crash Off Florida Coast
On May 12, a Bahamian plane crashed off the east coast of Florida. Eleven passengers were stranded on a life raft for several hours.
The small aircraft was on a routine flight between two islands in the Bahamas when its navigation systems, radio, and engines failed. An emergency transmitter sent out a distress call, alerting the US Coast Guard.
The passengers were rescued and are now in stable condition. Captain Rory Whipple, an Air Force combat rescue officer, noted that the passengers appeared distressed both physically and emotionally.
The rescue operation was successful, and all individuals on board are safe. Further details about the incident will be provided as they become available.
