Notts County player Jones has spoken about his successful history at Wembley Stadium. He helped Coventry win the EFL Trophy in 2017 and was part of their League Two play-off victory in 2018. In 2023, while playing for Notts County, he scored a penalty in the National League promotion final against Chesterfield.
In November 2023, Jones represented Malta as a substitute against England. He was named League Two Player of the Year in 2024 after setting a record with 24 assists, previously shared by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.
