Matheus Nunes of Manchester City had a standout season as a full-back. He started 32 games and played 2,865 minutes, surpassing his total from the previous two seasons. City won 66% of matches when he started, compared to 33% without him. Nunes completed 1,153 passes in the opposition half and had five assists, the most among full-backs.

Gabriel Magalhaes from Arsenal also had a notable season. He recorded seven goal involvements, including three goals and four assists, mainly from set-pieces. Gabriel contributed to 17 clean sheets, the highest for any defender, while Arsenal conceded only 20 goals during his time on the pitch.

William Saliba, Gabriel’s defensive partner, kept 15 clean sheets. Arsenal conceded a goal every 131 minutes with him on the field. Saliba completed 92.9% of his passes, ranking among the best in the league.

Adrien Truffert of Bournemouth stood out with over 50 overlapping runs. He won possession in the defensive third 105 times and led full-backs in interceptions and tackles. Truffert was the only Bournemouth player to start all 38 matches this season.
