Breaking News: Aircraft Crash at Connetts Farm
A small aircraft has crashed on Connetts Farm in Devon. The farm’s founder, Nick Stevens, confirmed the incident. He was nearby when he noticed a significant fire and initially thought it was one of his barns. Upon arrival, he discovered it was the aircraft.
Emergency services were already alerted when Stevens reached the scene. Road closures have been implemented in the surrounding area to ensure safety.
The Dunkeswell Aerodrome, a former RAF site located in the Blackdown Hills near the Somerset border, is known as the highest licensed airfield in the UK. Witnesses reported seeing a large amount of black smoke east of the airfield around 11:00 AM.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
