Breaking News: Luke Littler Wins Premier League Darts Match
World number one Luke Littler won his fifth match of the Premier League Darts season in Aberdeen. The 19-year-old defeated Luke Humphries, moving back to the top of the table.
Littler’s victory follows his recent win in Liverpool. He has now surpassed Jonny Clayton, who is also guaranteed a spot in the playoffs at London’s O2 Arena on May 28.
In a close match, Humphries reached only his second final this season. He took Littler to a last-leg decider, marking their fourth such match in 13 weeks. Humphries broke Littler’s throw in leg seven, putting him one leg away from victory.
However, Littler responded by winning three consecutive legs. He broke in leg 10 to set up the decider. Despite missing three match darts, he secured the win with his fourth attempt.
Littler averaged 104.11, while Humphries averaged 103.10. This win brings Littler closer to matching his record of six wins from last year.
