Breaking News: Venezuelan Mother Dies Saving Daughter During Earthquake
A Venezuelan mother has died while protecting her daughter during recent earthquakes in the country. Footballer Héctor Bello shared the news on Instagram, referring to her as his wife, Andrea.
Bello stated that Andrea saved their toddler’s life during the powerful quakes. He expressed his sorrow, promising to tell their daughter how her mother sacrificed her life for her.
Rescue teams continue to search through the rubble in Caracas, where the earthquakes have resulted in at least 589 deaths and nearly 3,000 injuries. Bello has traveled to Caracas to be with his daughter, who is currently hospitalized. He reported that both his daughter and her aunt are in good condition but will remain in the hospital for now.
A local football organization, Cumaná de Campeones, confirmed Andrea’s death, stating she was found in the rubble. They also noted that the couple’s daughter survived the collapse of their building. US news outlet Univision has also reported on this tragic incident.
