Key Responsibilities:

As a Territory Sales Officer, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales through personal engagement in the market, focusing on both direct selling and optimizing our distribution network and key accounts.

  • Distributor Management: Oversee the distributor system and accounts, ensuring both front-end and back-end operations are functioning effectively.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize Management Information System (MIS) reports to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancing execution and performance within your territory.

  • Negotiation and Development: Engage with distributors to foster relationships and develop their teams in customer management to drive increased business.

  • Market Feedback: Build and maintain relationships with trade partners to strengthen our market position, while providing valuable market insights and feedback to the branch office.

  • Competitive Analysis: Assess strategies to enhance our competitive edge through improved customer service.

  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate the performance of distributors and their sales teams, implementing corrective actions as needed to address infrastructure gaps.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A preferred degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in channel sales is required.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Return on Investment (ROI) calculations and Route Sales (RS) distribution management.

  • Sales Planning: Familiarity with RS appointment processes and sales planning methodologies.

  • Promotional Activities: Experience in conducting and executing promotional initiatives.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English and the local language are essential.
