Breaking News: Ukraine Strikes Wildberries Warehouse, Resulting in 7 Deaths and 25 Injuries Amid Escalating Drone Attacks on Russian Logistics

Breaking News Report

In a recent attack on Wildberries warehouses in Russia, seven workers died, and 25 were injured, including seven in serious condition. This incident occurred in Elektrostal, as part of Ukraine’s intensified drone strikes targeting Russian logistics.

Serhii Kuzan, chairman of the Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Centre, stated that Wildberries is crucial for Russian logistics. He claimed its website has been used to buy military equipment, indicating the rationale behind the strikes is to disrupt supplies to the Russian army.

Governor Evgeniy Pervyshov reported that 28 drones were intercepted during the attack, marking it as one of the largest assaults in the region. Additionally, a Russian oil depot was damaged by a falling drone.

Emergency services are currently responding to the situation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strikes on Russian oil facilities, asserting they are legitimate targets due to their role in funding the invasion of Ukraine.

The BBC has not verified the figures related to the attacks or the extent of the damage.
