Drone strikes have left approximately 13,000 residents in Zaporizhzhia without electricity. Russia and Ukraine are engaged in ongoing drone attacks.

Overnight, Ukraine targeted Russian energy infrastructure across several regions. A significant strike occurred in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, where drones hit a tanker, a fuel tank, and an administrative building, causing a major fire at the port.

Rostov Governor Yury Slyusar confirmed the attack, stating that there were no reported casualties, although two civilians were injured when a drone struck a private home in Taganrog.

Russian air defenses reportedly destroyed multiple drones in various districts. In Grekovo-Timofeyevka, a gas pipe caught fire, but residents were evacuated without injuries. Damage also occurred in the Neklinovsky District, where windows in two homes were broken.

Meanwhile, Russia launched 90 drones and two ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Damage was reported in the Sumy region, affecting infrastructure and vehicles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned of a potential large-scale Russian assault and urged allies to expedite missile system deliveries.
