A boat sank in the morning at around 11 AM. Peter, a local resident, was waiting for his family to return but grew concerned when they did not arrive. He went to the harbor and overheard two people discussing the sunken boat.
Peter approached them and learned that his family was on board. He was advised to go to the police station. There, he waited for a long time while officers took his information.
The owners of a nearby guest house helped him, while his aunt and uncle drove to support him. The following morning, Peter went to a hospital in Dolgellau, where three of his family members were found. However, his mother was still missing.
Peter shared that his father could swim, but his uncle reported that his father had suffered a serious head injury. After three days, Peter’s mother’s body was recovered.
