Breaking News: Train Stabbing Incident
A man was stabbed multiple times on a train in Huntingdon. He reported that he was initially stabbed in the shoulder and immediately warned fellow passengers to flee.
The train made an emergency stop, where armed police responded. The victim received first aid from another passenger and was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
Medical staff later confirmed he suffered seven wounds to his bicep, shoulder, and arm. The knife narrowly missed a nerve. After surgery, he expressed concern about the impact on his football career but was informed he was fortunate that the damage was not severe.
Following his release from the hospital, he underwent several months of rehabilitation. He returned to full training in March, describing the progress as a relief.
The victim has not traveled by train since the incident, stating that he feels unsafe and cannot trust the situation. Further details about the assailant or any arrests have not been released.
