Scope: Valle de Bravo to Santiago Tianguistenco (approximately 40 stores, modern/self-service channel)
Location: Toluca, State of Mexico
Terms and Conditions: Full-time – 70% fieldwork / 30% remote work
Position Objective
As a Field Advisor, you will be responsible for executing and supervising Unilever’s commercial strategy within the modern retail channel (including Walmart, Bodega Aurrerá, Chedraui, and Soriana) in the Toluca area and surrounding regions. You will lead a team of 25 promoters, ensuring excellence at the point of sale by monitoring KPIs related to success metrics, building strong customer relationships, and serving as a liaison between the promotional team and corporate headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the performance of 25 promoters in the assigned area, ensuring coverage, execution, and adherence to standards.
- Ensure excellence at the point of sale by tracking KPIs: SKU availability, Share of Shelf, number of displays, and zero out-of-stock situations.
- Visit 2–3 retail locations daily (1.5–2.5 hours per store), generating closure reports and follow-ups using Power BI.
- Plan weekly itineraries and routes to optimize territory coverage (Valle de Bravo – Santiago Tianguistenco).
- Cascade commercial strategies to the promotional team and continuously train them on execution and product categories.
- Negotiate with store managers to secure optimal visibility, additional displays, and adherence to planograms.
- Provide phone support and intensive follow-up with the promotional team on remote work days.
- Analyze performance data and generate actionable insights to enhance execution in the area.
- Act as a communication bridge between the promotional team and corporate, promptly escalating opportunities and needs.
- Identify organic growth opportunities in the territory with a disruptive focus and results-oriented mindset.

Required Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in administrative, commercial, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in advisory, supervisory, or field executive roles in the fast-moving consumer goods sector; candidates with a promoter background should have at least 3 years of experience.
- Genuine interest and real availability for fieldwork (70% of the time).
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing large teams (more than 20 people).
- High sensitivity to interpersonal relations: charisma, active listening, and effective communication with multiple stakeholders daily.
- Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- Proactive and capable of autonomous management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license (essential).
- Residency in Toluca or nearby metropolitan area.
- English proficiency is desirable.
