Job Title: Library Assistant

Location: Southborough Library
Hours: Part-time, 7 hours per week (Saturdays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the library team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, guiding them to maximize their library experience.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Support library programs and activities.
  • Assist patrons with IT-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a library or customer-facing role.
  • Proven ability to positively impact customer experiences.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • A passion for working with people and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
