Job Title: Production Operator – Soap Manufacturing

Location: Soap Factory – Valinhos
Reports To: Manufacturing Coordinator


Job Objective
The Production Operator is responsible for executing operational activities on the soap packaging lines, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The role requires disciplined and collaborative work to maintain equipment reliability and production process stability.


Key Responsibilities

Line Operation

  • Operate packaging equipment according to work instructions and quality standards (CRQS/PQS).
  • Perform basic adjustments and operational interventions to ensure line stability.
  • Identify and report operational deviations, escalating to technical support as needed.
  • Conduct format/variant changes while ensuring optimal time management and quality execution.
  • Facilitate shift handover meetings.
  • Serve as a model for safe behavior and operational best practices.
  • Execute autonomous maintenance routines as per the AM calendar and 5S standards.
  • Review relevant procedures within the area of responsibility.
  • Proactively address anomalies using tools such as red/blue tags.

Management of Indicators and Losses

  • Ensure accurate production and loss reporting.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) that directly impact factory performance.
  • Identify deviations and propose corrective/preventive actions in collaboration with the team.
  • Actively participate in break analysis and quality incident investigations.

Safety and Quality

  • Act as a guardian of safety culture, promoting safe behaviors and proactive interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards and tools.
  • Verify that products meet established quality standards.
  • Manage the opening and release of ATRs (Authorization to Release).

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma is required; technical training is a plus.

Experience and Technical Knowledge

  • Operational knowledge of packaging lines; experience in soap production lines is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret operational procedures and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with personal care product manufacturing processes, preferably soaps.
  • Proficient in continuous improvement tools (e.g., UMS, TPM, WCM).
  • Understanding of OLE concepts, loss trees, and autonomous maintenance.
  • Familiarity with production management systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to read and interpret production plans and manufacturing orders.
