Job Title: People Partner – Bangladesh

Job Description:
As a People Partner, you will serve as the primary HR contact for our employees and line managers, guiding them throughout the entire employee lifecycle—from hiring to retirement. Your role will involve providing expert advice and support on HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will be a trusted resource for both employees and management, leveraging your knowledge and experience to foster a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with line managers to offer exceptional guidance on individual HR matters.
  • Address complex local inquiries by applying our policies, legal knowledge, and interpersonal skills, ensuring consistent compliance across the organization.
  • Manage knowledge resources at UNA and contribute insights for technology enhancements.
  • Support the onboarding, job transitions, and exit processes (JML) to create a seamless experience, facilitating smooth change management with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide hands-on operational support related to performance improvement, disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, family leave, flexible working arrangements, consultations, and redundancy processes.
  • Uphold Unilever’s standards of behavior and performance, assisting in conflict resolution and maintaining a professional work environment.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by instilling confidence in managers and employees, ensuring unbiased facilitation of issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with various HR teams (HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition) to provide subject matter expertise and recommend appropriate actions for addressing queries and challenges.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR roles such as HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a matrix team environment.
